My Bray Promenade and Beach painting is the culmination of many hours of labour and love.
Now I could have created the “impressions” of stones with blobs of paint texture but I knew that is not what I wanted so instead painted each pebble with 3, 4 or sometimes 5 layers of paint each.
I knew after creating the first section it was going to work great and I had to shut out the “overwhelming-ness” and press on.
But all the time painting the pebbles I just couldn’t wait to paint the railings because I knew that bright red ball on the top of each post was just going to jump off the page and it was great when I finally got them.
