The original seed of this idea came months previously when I saw a friends post on facebook. She took some gorgeous photos of the bridge and straight away I knew I was going to paint it at some stage in the future.
I liked the angle as it runs off into the distance and once again my tech drawing skills from school came in useful.
I have lovely memories from my younger days of my parents buying us the nicest ice creams in the shop across from the wooden bridge whenever we were coming back from Bull Island.
