Inspired by a hiking trip to Canada, I had to paint a rare painting outside of Ireland. This is Lake Louise, nestled in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta. It was an awe inspiring place with the glaciers above. The vivid turquoise for the water comes from the silt deposits coming down from these glaciers and is beautiful to behold
